On Sunday teatime we will make our way to Newcastle Ferry Terminal where we will sail over to Ijmuiden, Netherlands.
On Monday we will make our way through Holland and Belguim, arriving teatime in Lille
On Tuesday morning we will ride from Lille towards Limorges, depending on the distances we may well stop over night somewhere along the way! We are travelling on the motorbike together with our friends Jon and Trish! We will be staying for a few days in Limorges at our firends, Keith & Dorothy's home. We are so looking forward to it all! I am sure we will have fun!

I remember Limoges very well - we stopped at the porcelain factory and I bought myself a beautiful vase. My ABCW will be up later. Have fun and I'm looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back. :D

Believe it or, we are two Taiwanese who hold French passports. We have lived in France for almost 10 years. It is a marvelous country. Have a nice trip take care on the motorbike.

I'd be so stiff riding a bike all that way! Good for you, it WILL be fun! And think of all the scenery you'll see along the way ... pity you can't take photos from the back of a bike!

We took that ferry trip last time visted France. If you are bypassing Antwerp take care as it is easy to find yourself going into the city, (which looked very interesting but busy). Of course I am easily confused by numbers and have no sense of direction so I am sure you will have no problem. We will be taking the ferry from Portsmouth in September because we are going west this year. Bon Voyage to you.
